NYFW DAY 2

beaded jacket | bag | clutch The view of Lincoln Center across from our hotel / Trying to keep as organized as possible with 6 suitcases between Abby and I. Thank goodness for my Nena & Co bag that fit all of my hair products and most of my clothing!
After my first day at New York Fashion Week, I didn't think we could pack as much into day two....but we did. Day 2 was full of photo shoots, hair styling with TRESemmé (twice in one day!), backstage at the Marissa Webb show, and we still had energy to explore a bit of the city that night.

The view inside the Mercedes Benz tents looking down from the TRESemmé salon / Round two of our styling session. I went with a big messy fishtail off to the side.
Backstage before the Marissa Webb show. The room was packed with models, hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers, camera crews, and press. So much excitement/energy. And SO much hairspray. The models rocked these amazing five-strand mohawk braids, with dutch braids going down either side.
Abby jumped right in as an honorary member of the TRESemmé team and helped with some of the hair styling.

Backstage with Marissa Webb as she was interviewed before the show / We got to see the racks of beautiful clothing before they went down the runway.

That night, I ditched my heels for a pair for some comfy Ryka sneakers and grabbed a cupcake at Magnolia's with Abby and my SIL, Rachel. We walked past Giuliana and Bill Rancic on a stroll out to get crepes, and they were adorable. So I naturally stocked the crepe shop out the window the entire time we were eating our cupcakes.
