ELF Studio Crease Brush - Review & Comparisons

Oh. My. Gosh. ELF is like my boy band crush, and when they release a new single product, I squeal like a teeny bopper and immediately order it from their website - full price shipping and all (unless I hit a sale simultaneously). So, their newest product is the Studio Crease Brush ($3.00, eyeslipsface.com), which quickly followed their Studio Blending Brush (click here for that review), they have maintained the soft feel that their Studio line brushes are known for, but have really stepped up with these unique shapes. While the Blending Brush is epic for affordable makeup brushes, it is a bit wide for precise crease definition, and then came along the Crease Brush. This brush is as slender as the narrow angle of the Blending Brush, but round in shape and tapered at the top - perfect for sitting in the crease (or creating a crease). It applies color concentrated at the tip of the brush, in the depth of the crease, while also blending and softening the edges with the tapered design. It is amazing! I only ordered one for reviewing, but after using it a few times now, I need to order 5 more!

Here is a look I did using the Blending Brush to apply shadows in the main areas of the eye, and I used the Crease Brush to apply a few different shades in the crease and along the lash line. It was a very quick look because I was rushing to beat the sunlight to get the photos taken. So, my application isn't as bold as I would normally do it, but you can see how it kept those dark shades where I applied them, but still blended them in with all the other shades I had on. I also used it on the lower lid area, right at the outer corner and up to the lash line.

Here are a few of my go-to crease brushes that I photographed with the Studio Crease Brush to show a comparison in size and design, as well as a comparison to the Studio Blending Brush.
