The Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron ($129.99, voloom.com), is another product I claimed in the iFabbo Shop, where bloggers can exchange coins to review trendy products. I have very long hair at the moment, and it is naturally straight and sleek, there is no texture to my hair, it's just smooth and soft. I have a very hard time with styling my hair, it won't hold heat styling very well, and it is too dry to get much volume from dry shampoos. My hair also has a tendency to get very heavy, so volumizing shampoos, conditioners, and sprays just make my hair heavier and flatter. So now that you understand my hair, would you believe that this Voloom iron has actually boosted the volume in my hair and it lasts all day?! Yes, it's amazing and true! :) The Voloom iron can be used for a light boost in volume, or some serious big hair don't care volume! It all depends how much you use the iron.

What's in the box? The Voloom iron, a storage wrap, a pouch of three plastic hair clips to help keep your hair separated during the process, and a pointed handle brush.

It took one try and I was speechless, the results speak for themselves, check out my before and after:

What's even better - it is simple. Quick to heat up, easy to use, quick to cool done. I think it takes me about 10-15 minutes from the moment I turn it on to the end result you see in my photo demo below.

I started with a center part, used the included pointed handle brush to lift the top section of hair, about an inch thick and clipped it to the other side of my head out of the way. This section will later fall on top of all the work the Voloom does to conceal the slight crimping it leaves behind.

I then took the pointed handle brush to gather the first section of hair to work on, about an inch thick and half an inch behind the hair line, again to assist in hiding the volumized hair.

The instructions suggest 320-350 for fine, thin, damaged hair, 650-370 for normal, medium, healthy hair, and 370-390 for thick, coarse, curly hair. I went with 370.

I did three clamps at one second each, starting at the root and working down, I didn't want to go too far down because then you'd see the crimping peeking out. After this I repeated with one more section.

Wow, here's the half and half - left side with Voloom, right side without Voloom!

And then I completed the other side and the back of my head.

Just to smooth everything out, I brushed through all my hair and WOW! I feel like adding this > #bighairyesplease ;)

Sign me up for hair modeling right now! Can you believe this? I feel like this is how my hair should look naturally, especially since I have long heavy hair, the volume doesn't deflate, it holds - without hairspray (because I forgot) - for hours, at night before bed, I felt like a princess brushing my luscious locks. In the morning, I still had volume and even my 2 year old son said my hair looked pretty, unsolicited compliments about bed head will really put you in a great mood all day! :)

In conclusion, it's amazing, it really does work, it lasts for hours. Plus, you have the option to buy it in one payment of $129.99 or three payments of $43.33 AND there's a risk-free 30 day trial! Check out their website because it is full of videos and photos and demos http://voloom.com
