It’s Almost Here–Plus A Great Last Minute Deal For YOU!

The following blog post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of Lorna Jane.

Anyone else out there finding it hard to believe that Christmas is already less than a week away? Where is the time going? Normally the way the holidays fly by would send me into a mildly (okay…possibly severely) stressed out state. Do you feel me? But this year I approached things a little bit differently and it has worked out beautifully.

My secret formula this year? Do holiday shopping online.

Just under a month before Christmas and I was practically done, baby! Whoop! I found some great steals, too. It’s a lot easier to search for deals across multiple stores when you just have to click to a different tab instead of driving ten minutes to a different store.

Kiwi Crates for Makenzie – My Makenzie loves anything artsy. Which makes me feel bad that I have not a crafty bone in my body. My idea of art? Hand the kid a stack of white computer paper and some crayons. Which she loves, but I thought it would be nice to surprise her with something to involve her artsy side a little bit more. They have a lot of great ones!

All things Batman for Braedon – Kohls had some great prices for toys during Black Friday and Cyber Monday online. I saved almost 70% on toys for him and didn’t even have to leave the house. Score!

I also found some other great deals – like Pillow Pets for my nephews and a 50% off Zip Lining Tour for Peter. Somehow I managed to stay focused without purchasing extras for myself. That was hard. But lucky for me, my friends at FitFluential had something special coming my way.

They sure do know the way to this girl’s heart. New workout clothes? I’m all over that!

I received a new workout outfit from Lorna Jane, which included the black Amy 3/4 Tight and the Lynda Excel Tank in Yves Blue. Of course, I had to try the outfit on as soon as it came in the mail.

The material felt very durable and fit in a very flattering manner. The pants had a decent amount of compression to shape things nicely and the top didn’t cling in all the wrong places. I haven’t been able to put the gear through a full workout yet (thanks a lot for that, you nasty flu!) but I did put the clothes through a few key tests for yoga.

  • Downward Dog Test: to check pant sheerness = NO issues whatsoever (yay!)
  • Plank Test: to check the cleavage coverage = a bit lower cut than I typically wear, but still not inappropriate and the top stayed in place.

I really love the little details in the design, as well. Here’s a better picture of the back of the tank – it has a ruched mesh in the back with straps that hook together or can be worn straight.

Love! I have a feeling I will be checking out Lorna Jane a lot more for workout wear. They release 70-100 new styles every month, with no seasonal items you can only get certain times of the year. Their clothing is also designed for a wide variety of activity, combining both fashion and function.

So how does this benefit YOU? Well, if you have some last minute shopping to do for a fitness loving friend (or plan to put some of your own Christmas gift money to good use) then don’t miss out on this great deal.

Lorna Jane is offering an exclusive deal to you all! Just use code RUNGIRLRUN for 20% off all full priced styles when shopping online at www.lornajane.com. The offer is valid online only and just through 12/31/2013 so be sure to take advantage of it while you can.

But that isn’t the only exclusive deal Lorna Jane is offering you all. You can also get free access to the downloadable e-book – Move Over Sugar Recipe Book (click link to get access to download). The e-book includes information on how to reduce sugar intake and over 50 recipes to treat yourself without so much added sugar. It’s all part of Lorna Jane’s Move Nourish Believe project, which emphasizes living the “Lorna Jane Philosophy” of moving and nourishing your body and also believing in yourself.

So Christmas is really almost here. That doesn’t mean you need to be stressing. You still have time to get in some last minute shopping and you even now have the resources to put together a healthier holiday treat to boot. Who needs to worry about fitting it all in this season? Right?

Do you like online shopping? Any gifts you’re treating yourself with this holiday season?
