The one with Elmo the emu.

To break up all the cosmetics-related posts I thought I'd share some pictures of my in-law's little farm. I've mentioned in the past that they love their chickens, and now they are slowly growing their animal family (there is talk of baby goats in the near future - can't wait!).

This handsome guy is their latest addition - Elmo the emu. I was a little scared to feed him for the first time (Elmo's favorite food is grapes). Jer took some pictures of me, and I think my eyes were closed for each one. : )

I love visiting their house. We get to play with the animals and pick fruits and vegetables from their gardens. I work close to the city and live in the suburbs, so it is fun to get in a little nature on the weekends.
