Cucina Enoteca

No big deal ya know... just a new favorite restaurant alert. Okay I lied, it is kind of a big deal.

While searching for the perfect rehearsal dinner restaurant Nadav and I recently found ourselves at Cucina Enoteca in Del Mar. We loved the food, service, and atmosphere so much that we've been back twice since our first visit and I am already planning another dinner there with friends.

Beautifully decorated, Cucina Enoteca is hip in that perfectly bohemian kind of way. Mason jars, retro fabrics, long wooden tables, and a *gasp* wishing wall in the women's bathroom. It's everything my bohemian restaurant dreams are made of, I can't get enough. =P Cucina Enoteca is so hip that it almost feels like it belongs in New York City or LA. I guess San Diego is jumping on the cool restaurant bandwagon and I am not mad about it. ;)

Superficial things aside, the food at Cucina Enoteca is some of the best I've had in a long time. The stuffed fried squash blossoms appetizers are a MUST. The arctic char (which tastes a lot like cooked salmon to me) is perfectly prepared, and I seriously can't get enough of the wasabi mashed potatoes. While we're on the topic, the desserts are dangerously good. I mean really, the tiramisu is finger licking good and the nutella affogato (aka the most delicious doughy donut you've ever had) is a major problem. #GetItAwayFromMeOrIllEatItAll

Looks so good right?! :) If you're looking for a nice dinner out check out Cucina Enoteca in Del Mar. You won't regret it. -- Happy Friday Friends
