Brand new and an adoring adieu!

Alexis here with today’s brand new rootin’ tootin’ digi release!

If you haven’t already guessed, today we’re releasing a brand new southern gentleman by the name of Cowboy Kody! We also have Loopy Sentiments V2 and Loopy Sentiments V4 to add to the other October Loopy Sentiment releases!

Joining us for this last digi release of the month is our talented
October Guest Odd Girl, Elle Lindgren!

She’s been such a pleasure all month long and I’m a little teary to see her go so soon! This final featured card is definitely one of my faves and she really did justice to our manly Cowboy Kody.

Here’s what Elle had to say about this week’s brand new release:

“Did you know that you can combine two digis and get a totally awesome result? I wanted to give the brand new Cowboy Kody digi stamp a leading lady, and who better than Pirate Kaylee?! The two of them make a fantastic treasure-hunting duo, and I can just imagine what kind of crazy adventures and escapades they’d get into.

I colored Kody and Kaylee with Copics, going for bright and cheerful colors. I added a few accents with a white gel pen and cut around them carefully with scissors and a craft knife.

I grabbed the perfect distressed map paper from my stash and adhered it to the card front. I found another great paper with gold embossing, and die-cut it into a stitched circle before adding it to the card. It gives a fantastic bit of shimmer and shine to the card when the light catches it.

I adhered the adventure duo with foam tape, then just scattered a few enamel dots. With the bright colors on the lovely stamps, the card didn’t need much embellishing.

I want to take a moment to once again thank Kristy and the Odd Girls for having me. It’s been an amazing experience, and I’m both humbled and excited to have been a part of it.”

We’ll certainly miss Elle, and she’s definitely an honorary Odd Girl! Lucky for us she’s so active in our Facebook Community so we still get to see all of her awesome Some Odd Girl projects!
