Designer Spotlight: Valentino

Happy Monday Lovelies!
Kicking off the week with a little Designer Spotlight on one of my favourite maisons - Valentino. Recently celebrating 50 fabulous years of fashion, Valentino was established in 1960 by Valentino Garavani & partner Giancarlo Giammetti. Valetino retired in 2008. More recently the design is headed up by the formidable duo Maria Grazia Chiuri & Pierpaolo Piccioli, who continue to push the boundaries of fashion for the maison, daring to be different.

Their shoes & bags have been pushed to the forefront of every fashionistas wish list with the covetable Rockstud range, which this season has seen even more colour injected into it & more recently they have made camo glam, think these trainers. SS15 saw another great ready to wear collection inspired by the 18th century tradition of the grand tour, containing some of my favourite prints & designs seen on the SS15 catwalks.

I've pulled together some of my favourite statement Valentino pieces that are currently available to buy now. The Glam Lock shoulder bag is already on my bags wishlist in this colour.

Last but not least I love that Valentino is a fellow Pug lover (he has 5 Pugs).

Having already got a couple of pairs of Valentino shoes it's definitely a maison I will be investing more into going forward.
