Wedding showers

I almost don’t want to say it out loud but something in the air has changed this week… the wind is a little fresher, the ground is a little wetter and the sun seems a little tired of showing face. Perhaps summer is merely taking a break but , for now, the knits are back in rotation.

When I found this skirt in the Topshop sale it reminded me so much of my wedding dress, which I still completely love, and to have the chance to wear even just a part of that dress again, in skirt form, was too enticing to pass up. It seems to be completely sold out now but this one and this one are very similar and also beautiful quality lace.

Happy Friday! I have some fun events lined up this weekend and hope to see a few of your gorgeous faces this evening at Tia Maria Dark Room in Glasgow’s Hummingbird. Now to decide what to wear…
