New Year's Day Birthday Brunch

For the special New Year's Day birthday boys we had another brunch party to celebrate! It was pretty much identical to the last New Year's Day birthday brunch we had for them except this year we rented a bounce house for all the kids. Best decision ever!

I could cry thinking how fast the last 6 years have flown by. How we only found out the day after he was was born that he would be joining our family. And the frantic excitement as my sisters and I ran to stores picking up diapers and blankets and a bassinet, since my parents were working. And then driving to the adoption agency as a family of 5 to pick him up. Knowing our family would never be the same. He's a very strong-willed, stubborn, decisive child (takes after his big sister :) ) and I'm so proud of the smart, fun, hysterical, caring boy he's becoming.

My dad is such an amazing dad, husband and person.
Always there for us in every way, putting his family first and making sure everyone else is happy.
I am beyond lucky to have such an amazing dad who is fun to be with, pushes me in every area of my life, and a person who has set a very high standard for future important men in my life.
So thankful for him every single day.
