The Tea House Emporium.

Whenever people ask me to recommend some 'must visit' places in Bath, The Tea House Emporium is always at the top of my list. It's a little gem that I discovered in my first few months at university in Bath, and their delicious teas and hot chocolates have fueled my studies ever since. At street level, it simply looks like a shop, but underneath is an incredibly charismatic little tea room, serving a vast menu of teas, coffees, and fantastic cakes. It's one of my favourite Bath hideaways, and it's made me fall in love with tea all over again.
Not only did the Tea House Emporium introduce me to loose leaf teas (honestly, I will never look at a tea bag in the same way again!), but it's also thanks to them that I first tried magical flowering teas. Most recently, I've discovered their amazing hot chocolates. Over winter I was addicted to the Chocolate Chai, but right now I'm all about the Strawberry White Chocolate. Not only does it taste utterly delicious, but the the packing is so vintage and charming. If that's not enough, the pink and white chocolate flakes themselves are possibly the prettiest hot drink ingredients I've ever seen! I didn't think it was possible to get so excited about hot chocolate, but I was wrong...
If you're visiting Bath, I really can't recommend them enough. If in doubt of what to order or buy (and the menu is so extensive, you may well feel a bit lost!) the strawberry and cream or caramel teas are my all time favourites. I always have bags of them in my kitchen!
