MIAMI COLLECTION C/O THE LACQUER LAB

Ever since getting a couple of gel manicures in the run up to our wedding last year, I've fallen back in love with doing my nails. In my mid-teens I lived in messy black and neon hues (ahh, the joys of the emo/scene years!), then in college my nails were wrecked by constantly dipping my hands in chemicals on my photography course, so I've only really started doing my nails 'properly' since I started university. Even so, it's something I go through phases with. I'll have months at a time where they're always meticulously painted, then I'll go six months with bare nails.
Right now I'm going through the former stage, and I absolutely love it. In particular, I love any kind of polish that gives me a high-shine gel effect, hence I'm enamoured with these polishes from The Laquer Lab. The Laquer Lab caught my attention because their products are cruelty free, hand blended, and '5 Toxin-Free' (no Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin or Camphor). Their new Miami collection is a complete summery joy, and I've already worn all five of the shades out and about. My favourite has to be Roller Babin', which is the perfect punchy pink, and quite frankly a must-have for any pink lovers out there! The finish is beautiful, and the application is great (although it did take three coats to get a completely opaque colour). Thankfully, they dry quite quickly, and I've found them to be fairly chip resistant.

The shades are £7 a pop, or you can snap up the whole collection for £29. Which shade is your favourite?
