Indigo jeggings | Studded boots | Glamoxy snake kit | Plum textured dress | Ink pencil dress

Long sleeve skater dress | Long sleeve skater dress in navy | Drop collar blouse | Collar skater dress | Button through skater dress | V neck dress in navy | V neck dress in berry red | River Island collar dress | Peep toe heels
I was fairly restrained in the sales this year - got up in the middle of the night to queue in the cold for the next sale and only bought a few bits of jewellery! But I was in need of some new work-wear, so I had a little online browse of Dorothy Perkins and asos and came away with this little haul. The two dresses are perfect and although I didn't intend to get the oxblood studded ankle boots, but I decided they were required in my life, along with some new jeggings.
The long-sleeved skater dresses from asos are a favourite shape for wearing casually with a cardigan or at work with a patterned jacket. I've already got these in black and green. I also wanted to pick up a few posher work dresses and managed to find two slinky pencil type dresses which should work really well with my favourite black peplum jacket. I also got a couple of collared dresses as I wanted more necklines that work with a big old chunk of a statement necklace. The shirt is a style I've fancied for a while and it was a bargain price so that went into the basket, and oops another black dress and then the shoes, well, I have no excuses for how they got there...
I also couldn't not take a quick peek at Space NK and bagged the Glamoxy snake kit. I've tried a little sample of the snake serum before and was very impressed at the instant results, so as this kit had gone on sale for far less than the price of the snake serum itself, it was the right time to swoop in. I'll do a review on this once I've given it a proper testing.

Were you tempted by the sales this year?
