A Christmas Tradition

Last night Jared and I (along with our sibs) got to attend an awesome Christmas show for the fifth year in a row. It's so great having long-standing traditions like that, isn't it? There was a small chance we weren't going to be able to go this year and our group was definitely going to be disappointed if that happened. Luckily, a little Christmas miracle occurred and not only were we able to attend, we were able to have better seats than we ever have before!

Awaited is put on by a (huge!) local church and the event is completely free. This is no small production! 250 performers! Beforehand there are plenty of Christmas goodies and hot drinks, photo-opp's and all kinds of fun.

My mom, Aunt and Grandma got to come for the first time too this year! Even though our seats weren't all together we got to hang out briefly before the show started. Isn't my Mamaw the cutest?!

The show didn't disappoint and definitely put me in the Christmas spirit. I love that this is something our foursome makes a point to do together every year. Sometimes at our age I think you're in that weird transitional phase where you're still doing some childhood traditions, but you're also making new ones with your own family and this is one I'm so glad we've started. What's your longest standing Christmas/holiday tradition?
