Pastel drips and dots nail art

Hey lovahs! I have some more PASTEL nail art to show you guys today! I can't stop using (and buying) pastel polish, I think I may have a real problem.

This design wasn't my original idea... originally the drips were going to be dotted too but I did the first couple nails and it looked really weird and busy and not like I pictured in my head, so I painted over those dots and just left them as drips on dots! I'm kind of bummed that the idea I had didn't work out like I wanted it to, but I think these still turned out cute.

I started with two coats of Orly Lollipop, which I wore for a day on its own before adding stuff to it. This is like the perfect pinky-purple color, I love it so much. In some lights it looks more pink and in some lights it looks more purple, which is AWESOME.

I did the dots using my second-tiniest dotting tool and China Glaze Fancy Pants. After all the dots were done, I used China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On for the drips. I made the ends of the drips with my largest dotting tool and then used my mid-length striper brush to connect them and make them all drippy and stuff.

Even though this design wasn't what I originally had in mind, I ended up really liking it! I love the colors together and it's eye-catching and fun to look at. I almost left the dots all by themselves but I couldn't stop myself from adding more stuff!

What do you guys think of these? I hope you like pastels as much as I do because I feel like it's probably going to be hard for me to use anything else for a while... I have PASTEL FEEEEEVERRR!
