Best of 2013 from Lesley Myrick Art + Design

Whoa - it's the end of December already! 2013 has been an awesome year full of changes, excitement, growth, and new beginnings. Nate and I are heading into 2014 awaiting the arrival of our first baby (any day now!); making plans for our future (which may involve moving cross-country next fall); and planning our intentions for the next 365 days ahead as individuals and as a family.
My freelance art design business and Etsy shop have slowed down over the past few months - but that's okay with me right now. Between prepping for a baby; having a fantastic full-time job; and investing in my marriage, family, and friends; seeking out additional design work is a low priority (although it's always welcome with the right client and opportunity).
And even though this blog is more of a fun creative outlet than rigid part of my career, I've really enjoyed creating useful and unique content about art and design, inspiring quotes, and running an indie business.
