This autumn, Kiko have released a new limited edition collection. By now, many of you should know how fond I am of Kiko; budget friendly, wide variety and top performing products all round. The Daring Game Collection is another exciting release that I just couldn't wait to get my hands on.

Inspired by the glamour and sophistication of Bond Girls, the Daring Game Collection features products that you'll want to wear right through to your Christmas parties, housed in luxurious Casino themed packaging.

My absolute favourite product from the collection has to be the Ace of Diamond Lip Pencil.

The Kiko Ace of Diamond Lip Pencil twists up to reveal a slim, precise pencil that makes defining the lips and filling them in very easy. The pencil feels smooth and is very easy to shade in the lips with as it has a creamy formula that doesn't drag on the skin at all. The lip pencil is so long lasting as it keeps its colour and doesn't transfer or smudge whatsoever.

I love how pigmented it is and how it looks on my lips alone. Sometimes I just fill in my lips with it and leave them as they are and sometimes I layer over the matching lipstick or even just a slick of gloss over the top to create a gorgeous burgundy berry lip look that is perfect for the autumn and winter months.
I have the colour 27 Refined Burgundy which is a deep purple-red shade, like the colour of a very dark red wine. I love the look of wine coloured lips and it is a look I am wanting to explore more of this autumn winter. Last year I wore my first berry/red lipstick and I'm hoping to be a pro at pulling off a bold lip by the time the spring comes! I love wearing this lip pencil alone with a little gloss over the top but it is also great when used underneath the matching Ace of Diamond Lipstick.

I love that about this line; Kiko have created a coordinating lip pencil and lipstick for each colour which I think is so special as most brands don't do that. It is so frustrating when I go to buy a lipstick and I can't find a lip liner to go with it!
Although I've never had to use it, the Kiko Lip Pencil has a sharpener in the lid which is a nice touch too. These are £5.90 each here and there is six to choose from.

The Kiko Ace of Diamond Lipstick is available in six different intensely pigmented shades from coral to pink and red. The one that I have is number 27 Refined Burgundy. The Ace of Diamond Lipsticks are all paraben free and clinically tested.

Refined Burgundy is a luxuriously rich, burgundy wine coloured lipstick that is incredibly well pigmented. It applies with ease as it feels creamy and slightly waxy on the lips. When I rub my lips together after applying this lipstick, I can feel how smooth it feels on my lips. It has a demi matte finish which I find is very flattering and it doesn't feel drying at all.

I love the way that this gorgeous wine shade looks on the lips and it is long lasting as I find that it stains the lips so that when the colour wears away, the lips are still left with a slight burgundy colour. It does wear away unevenly though and I look as though I have a very thick lip liner on after I've eaten and drank while wearing this lipstick so I always make sure that I pop it in my bag when I am out and about. The lipstick itself comes in gorgeous gold packaging and it is small and not very bulky so it doesn't take up much room in my clutch bag.

As you can see, the lip pencil and the lipstick are exactly the same colour which I think is brilliant as it is quite a rarity to find matching products and it certainly makes it easier to create a statement bold lip when the two products are exactly the same.

When wearing this lipstick, it is so important that I wear the lip liner too as it has a tendency to bleed quite noticeably and even then, the lip liner can only do so much. This is so annoying as it is such a beautiful colour! When I'm wearing it I just pop a small concealer into my bag and a brush to tidy up my lip area if needed but I've only had to do this on a couple of occasions and I've worn it loads! This is my favourite bold lip to wear at the moment and has been for the last month and a half!

I absolutely love the colour of this lipstick and the lip liner as it makes the lips look really full whereas dark colours usually make the lips look smaller than they are. I've said so many times that I want to get into wearing berry and wine colours more and this combination have really inspired me to do just that. I don't think I would repurchase the lipstick because of the bleeding but I adore the colour so I would definitely repurchase a back up of the lip liner and just wear it all over the lips... I'll need to repurchase it quickly as this beautiful collection is limited edition!

Kiko Poker Nail Lacquer in 1 Prestigious Taupe*
There's six different shades available from the Kiko Poker Nail Lacquer line and I have two; number 1 Prestigious Taupe and number 6 Slick Bluenoir which are both sophisticated shades that will compliment a multitude of outfits this autumn winter. Kiko nail polishes have a 5-free formula meaning that they are free from five chemical nasties that many other nail polishes contain. These are Toluene, Camphor, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin and Formaldehyde.

Prestigious taupe is a beautiful cool toned grey-brown nude that looks stunning, regardless of when it is worn. This is a polish that you can wear to take you from the office to the club and my favourite colour of the two that I have tried, it is simply beautiful. If I could liken the colour to another shade, it would be a darker, more brown toned version Nude Beige by Models Own (review here, buy here) and a slightly darker version of Bear Nude by Collection (review here, buy here).

Slick Bluenoir is an incredibly dark blue-black shade that looks incredibly deep on the nails. The blue tone can only be seen when removing the brush from the bottle as on the nails this polish is blacker than black. They each have a gorgeous glossy finish and a super opaque colour that lasts two to three days without chipping providing you use a top coat. The first time I used the darker polish, I went to a spa and my full hand of polish literally just peeled off my nails however when I have used it since, I have used a top coat and not had this problem again.

Both polishes apply impeccably well; smooth, even and they dry pretty quickly to. The bottles have a square lids that remove like the Chanel nail polish packaging which is a nice touch and each have a dot on the top like dice, where the number of dots indicate the name of the nail polish. Underneath is a normal screw off lid and the brush which is the perfect size- wide but not too wide which really helps the quick and smooth application of the polish.

Then there's the Kiko Colour-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadows which are available in 10 new shades for the autumn and what beautiful colours they are too. I have number 8 which is called Sinuous Shell. It is a beautiful champagne colour with a slight pink tint to it. This is such a beautiful highlighting shade that really catches the light on the lids.

The Colour-Up eyeshadows come in a chubby stick/ crayon form making them so easy to apply as you can literally swipe and go. So if you're in a rush to get to a Christmas party after work then these will be ideal for you. The eyeshadows are in twist up packaging which I love because I can never find a pencil sharpener that works for these chunky pencils. The product feels creamy in the packaging and when being applied but you only have a few seconds to blend it as it dries quite quickly and really secures itself to the lid. Once locked in, the shadow stays put all day, or night depending on when you're wearing it and it doesn't fade or flake either, both of which I've found with cream formulas in the past.

I find that it doesn't layer onto itself particularly evenly, making this more of a swipe and go product that is great for when you're in a rush to get out of the door. One swipe is more than enough to give your lid a pop of champagne colour that can be worn alone or used to act as a base for powder products. My favourite way to wear it is on the brow bone and inner tear duct as a highlight. If you're a little tired after a late night at a Christmas party, then this product works really well along the lower lash line to brighten up the eye area.

Kiko All-in Marker and Kajal Review

Kiko All-in Marker and Kajal Eye Liner*
The Kiko All-in Marker and Kajal is a double ended eye liner that can enable you to create a multitude of different looks. On one end there is a tapered kajal and on the other is a felt tip liner. Since the liner pen is wide, I thought it would be difficult to hold and apply to the eye as I didn't think I would be able to see what I was doing however this wasn't the case at all and it was very easy to use because the liners themselves are long and tampered.
The eyeliner pen side is super black and very easy to work with to begin with. It enables me to draw a black line and winged out liner look onto my eye with absolute ease. It feel so smooth and literally glides on to my eye without tugging at the skin whatsoever. When it is dry, it doesn't sting or irritate my eyes or make them feel tight like some other liquid liner pens have done in the past. It stays put all day without flaking or transferring onto my upper lid and it removes with any cream cleanser with ease.

The kajal liner is good for using on the water and tight lines and also on the upper or lower lashline if you smudge it out after application. This can create a really gorgeous smoky eye. It is very pigmented but also buildable so you can build up the intensity depending on the look that you're going for. If you're wearing really dark, intense make up, you can apply this all over the lid as a base for eyeshadow which will increase the depth of the shadow.

In theory, I think the idea of a double ended eye liner is an absolutely brilliant idea however this one doesn't work in practice as well as in theory as it is a little too chunky. While the kajal liner is great to begin with, once it wears down it then becomes difficult to apply and the nib of the felt tip pen style side becomes too flexible and floppy after only a few applications (as you can see in the above photos) which then makes it very difficult to apply as it isn't as precise as when the nib of the pen is hard. I think this would work a lot better if there was a finer felt tip liner on one end and a kohl pencil on the other... that would be my perfect eye liner product!

Kiko Mystery Smoky Eye Pencil Review

The Kiko Mystery Smoky Eye Pencils are unlike a lot of other eye pencils out there. At first glance, it looks like an eye liner pencil but actually you can do much more with this pencil.
It can be used along the water and tightlines but it can also be ran along the lower lashline and smudged out using the angled brush on the other side of the pencil. My favourite way to wear it though is on my upper lid. I draw a line along the lashline and then blend it out like crazy using the angled brush to create a gorgeous smoky eye. The Mystery Smoky Eye Pencils are available in six different shades and I have the colour 13 Willy Bright Wood which is an unusual name for an eyeliner to say the least!

Willy Bright Wood is a very dark brown black shade with purple and gold shimmery glitter in it. It looks absolutely beautiful on the lids and is so creamy in texture which makes it very easy to apply and effortless to blend. This is a fabulous product for on the go and for travelling as you can create a gorgeous smoky eye very quickly and with ease.

I must also comment on the stunning packaging. I've never seen a pencil with a case like this before which makes it seem like a very expensive product when really it is incredibly affordable.
