The Not so Hidden Panera Menu and a Little Halo Help (GIVEAWAY)

I’m not sure what happened, but this morning I actually woke up wanting to get out the door and run. It was a complete turn around from yesterday morning.

I decided to take advantage of my positive attitude and get out the door. I didn’t want to take too much time getting ready so I scarfed down a bagel thin with peanut free NuttZo and a little honey and instead of taking time to make coffee I sucked down one of these PocketFuel coffee shots.

I did take a minute to snap this picture of my new Halo Race Visor though.

It kind of looks like I’m about to drink out of that dirty bird bath doesn’t it? Funny stuff.

I didn’t run with any water, but took a route that I knew had a couple water stops along the way.

It got hot out there fast, but the run felt really great. My mind was wandering all over the darn place. That might have been my last run outside before Kauai. Crazy.

If I get this sweaty here, goodness knows what’s going to happen there.

Maybe I should just run in a swim suit. Ha. I was all smiles and crazy hair at the end of the run this morning. It felt darn good.

It wasn’t fast by any means, but it wasn’t sluggish like most of my runs lately.

After the run, family rest mode was in full effect to start the weekend.

After our time at the pool we decided to hit up Panera. I know the last time I talked Panera some of you told me about the secret menu. I wanted the inside scoop before we went today, so thank you to those of you who helped a mama out on Facebook. Ha.

After asking about the secret menu (which thanks to Corrine I found out can be seen here- Access to Panera’s Hidden Menu), I decided on the Thai Chicken Salad from the regular salad menu.

I was VERY happy with my choice and I can’t believe I’ve never had this salad before. Where have I been?

Obviously I had to have a whole grain baguette with it. Dang I love them. I could have used like two more.

The salad was magnificent.

Everyone else was happy with their choices too. The boys love that they get a yogurt tube with their kid’s meal.

Andrew went for the whole 1/2 and 1/2 thing with sandwich and soup.

There may have been a little bribery involved to get a treat on the way out.

There was also some bribery later on in the day to make a “quick stop” at Trader Joe’s for milk, lettuce and bananas. Four bags of groceries later this had to happen.

Okay, so since it’s Friday and all and everyone is ready for the weekend I think that means we’re all ready for a GIVEAWAY.

Halo just changed up their light weight race visors by adding the logo to the the elastic band.

I’m totally digging the new design and felt pretty cool running it in this morning.

The race visors have the actual Halo Headband sewn in to keep the sweat off your face. I like that feature too.

They come in white and black.

The other sport visors come in other colors also, have adjustable velcro and are really comfortable as well.

So…….

there’s a Halo visor (sport or race) or a Halo hat with someone’s name all over it. That someone being one of YOU.

Woo hoo!

Oh wait, I want to pass along this code for FREE SHIPPING (US residents only) on any Halo Headband order from the website. The code is HALOSHIP11 and is good until November.

GIVEAWAY!

Winner will win one Halo visor or hat of choice. Open to US residents only. Open until Tuesday, August 26th 11:59 PST.

To enter the giveaway just leave me a comment here telling me what you’d choose. (If you prefer visors or hats.)

And/or any other Panera secrets I should know about. They have a hidden breakfast bowl that I really want to try now. Ha.

Feel free to tweet about the giveaway for an additional entry. Just make sure to come back and leave an additional comment letting me know that you tweeted.
