At Least I Have Some Six Pack Bags to Pack

It doesn’t feel like I’m winning at the moment, as I’m a bit stressed out about the upcoming trip and not really feeling that great, but hey, fake it until you make it, right?

Let’s just focus on all the winning things because even on some not so great days, there are many winning moments.

I fit in a short treadmill run while watching Parenthood this morning before having to pack up the troops to go teach spin at the gym.

I’m not really planning on running too much more this week. I just want to keep things at an easy pace. I’m pretty stressed out with a lot of other things going on at the moment, so just making it to the starting line on Sunday feeling good is my main goal. I definitely don’t have a PR or anything in sight, I’m just hoping for one heck of an enjoyable experience.

I used that Fireball song by Pitbull in spin today. I just kept the volume down during the beginning when he says some questionable stuff. It was a really fun one to spin to add gear every time he said “fireball”. Hopefully there wasn’t any other bad language in there, but we were working hard enough I don’t think anyone would have noticed.

Yesterday was National Dog Day. We didn’t really celebrate over here with our recent losses, but Joaquin made a very special picture frame heart outside for Turk.

How sweet is that?

Oh and I lasted less than 24 hours without my favorite Silk almondmilk and egg whites. Funny that I thought I could go without for 4 days. We made a trip to Target Monday to for a few things and I couldn’t pass them up. I also had to buy a new jar of cinnamon since we were almost out. I put cinnamon on everything!

I did finish this jar of peanut free NuttZo earlier though and will not let myself open a new jar before I leave.

I’ve got a few single packs stashed away to get my fix. Ha ha.

(I did just notice the the crunchy cluster is on sale (crunchy is my favorite). If you use code STUFT-15 when your order NuttZo from the website you get an additional 15% off. Just had to pass that along.)

I talked about core yesterday and now have some new ideas (thank you Silent Assassin). We did our planks on the BOSU yesterday in my class though.

I must say, our outfit choices are getting better by the day. Today the boots and the satchel were back, but the snorkel came out too.

Then the snorkel on the bike happened.

Good stuff. Always.

The HALO GIVEAWAY winner is

Laurel C.

Woo hoo!

Email me your address and what hat or visor you want and I’ll send it along to HALO.

I may have not started packing yet, but I have some really awesome Six Pack Bags to pack up.

Thank you to SMACK Media for helping a mama out. I’ve totally been saving these gems for a special occasion (I don’t know why I do that) and heck, Hawaii is one so I’m getting them ready. Check them out. This Pursuit Backpack 300 freaking rocks.

You can pack up to three meals for the road (or a long day at work or the beach).

Then there’s still room for all the normal backpack stuff like your water bottle, iPad, phone, notebook, etc.

I was also sent the Plyo Sling which can also carry two small meals. It looks like it’s just a cute purse from the front.

But it’s just so much more.

I’m pretty pumped at the opportunity to take these travel fit bags with me. Oh heck yes. If I could just get my act together enough to start a list of things I need to pack or something though. Yikes.

Six Pack Bags has a ton of different options with their bags- duffle bags, backpacks and purses. They are all so awesome.

If you want to order a bag (or two), use code STUFT at checkout to get 15%.

Here’s a quick peak at this Quest Nutrition snack that is about to go down.

I’ll have to fill you in on it later though. I better make sure it tastes good. Ha.

I’ll share tomorrow with a fun giveaway from my favorite shoe company.

Sound good?

Here’s a little motivation to get you through the rest of your day from Bob Harper and instagram.

Love love love it! I’m ready to make a few changes over here and this is just perfect.

How do you travel with meals? If so, just in your purse or bag? I’m curious.

What’s a food or pantry item you can’t go a couple days without having in your house? (My list is long- almond milk, egg whites, apples, coffee, red pepper flakes, cinnamon…….)
