From the Gala to Trails to Ginormous Pizza Eating

Well hello.

The last 24 hours have been a bit of a whirlwind (in the best way possible of course).

Last night we got to hang with one of our hometown buddies.

That’s right friends. Phillip Rivers. We go way back.

Kidding. We were actually super excited to see him and got this picture and a huge family picture. I was not happy that this picture wasn’t in focus and begged Andrew to go back with me to ask for a retake, but he was not having it. I gave in and just cropped the picture and added a filter. Ha.Next time Phillip.

Oh, and here’s a huge tip I must pass along to you for fancy dinners.

When you’re looking at your place setting do this with both hands. One the left you have a “b” for your bread plate and on your right you have a “d” for your drink glass.

You’re welcome. (Disclaimer- I have no idea where I learned that or if it’s actually legit, but I still do it every time.)

After a late night last night I had an early morning date with some trails for the Dirt Devil Racing Raptor Ridge Half Marathon.

I’ll have to fill you all in later, but it went a lot better than expected.

There was a lot of inhaled dust and dirt, but no snake sightings. It was just awesome.

Trail races are a whole new thing to me and I’m digging them. I mean, how can you not, right?

After getting the boys,

doing some chores and playing a quick game of Candyland (it’s our favorite), we headed to the Charger Party.

I was in charge of ordering pizzas. Yeah, big mistake by the family to put me in charge of that, but I ordered the biggest pizzas around.

That’s how we party friends.

I was not in charge of dessert, but this ginormous chocolate chip cookie was obviously a hit.

That’s all I’ve got.

Modern Family is waiting for me and it’s Monday tomorrow. Woot!

I’ll get a race recap up shortly.

You can still enter the giveaways that are going on and another one is on the way.

Yippee!!!!!

Hope you had a marvelous weekend!

Have you ever had giant pizza?

What was the best part about your weekend?
