Things I Will Be Doing a Lot More Often

My brain is mush at the moment, but I have a lot of things to pass along so I’m going bullet point style right now.

My last two days I’ve done a pretty darn good job of being in the 5 am workout club.

I had a 4:45 am wake up Monday and 4:30 am wake up today. I’m already a little nervous about tomorrow though.

I switched up the days with my training plan from Coach Jason and decided to do the harder/faster workout on Monday after a rest day rather than Tuesday. Oh man am I glad I did that.

Monday’s run had 3 miles in the middle at 6:49 pace after a few warm up miles. It wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated, but then again it was before 6:00 am so I may have not really been awake yet. Ha.

This morning it was 8 miles and again it wasn’t too bad after the marathon of a Monday I had, but it was so early my judgment may have been off a bit.

I’ve been watching the second season of The Mindy Project. That show gets better and better every time.

I hope I can keep at this whole early morning workout business. It helps when you know it’s really the only chance you’re going to get to fit in a run.

Big things are happening this week in the career world. Hence the early morning workouts and social media quietness around here. I just need to make sure I get through the first week in one piece before I start chatting on and on about it. I will show you my work outfit though.

Dressed to impress with my Mizuno gear. Yep, I’ll be sporting outfits like this a lot more often on a daily basis.

I’ve been grabbing quick breakfasts though and packing lunches. Pretty much something I haven’t done in over five years, but will in fact be doing a lot more often. It’s been a bit of a blur, but here are a couple fun things.

First, my new freezable lunch bag.

Yes, it’s just as cool as it looks and you just stick it in your freezer the night before. I love it.

Snacking on chilled Vega Sport protein bars is just fabulous. My favorite flavor is chocolate mint, but really they are all great.

Oh and by default today I ate my salad right out of the bag.

I think I need to do that more often. It was easy to mix up the lettuce with the hot and sweet salad dressing and really didn’t make a mess. One less thing to pack and one less dish to wash. Perfection.

Totally random, but Trader Joe’s Butter Lettuce is my favorite and I always look for the bags that have the big lettuce chunks in them. I’m kind of picky that way. I’m sure they love me there. Ha.

My friend Beth saw these the other night and texted me right away. Obviously I asked her to pick up a couple and she did.

I’m pretty excited. I can’t keep plants alive worth beans, but chia pets are easy to care for right?

Oh, I forgot to share some big Pro Compression news.

First off, the holiday Sock of the Month freaking rocks.

Right?

40% off with FREE shipping with code SNOW (or code STUFT14 still works too for the exact same discount).

Also, Pro Compression just came out with brand new compression tights.

I can’t wait to try them out. More on them coming shortly as there may be a giveaway in the works for these gems. Stay tuned.

Whelp, I feel like I had a really long list of things to share, but now I can’t remember. Please tell me that happens to you also.

Have a wonderful Wednesday friends!

What’s something you’ll be doing a lot more often this month?

Have you ever eaten salad out of the bag? It really is just so convenient.
