The Perfect Friday Night

I worked three weeks, now I’m officially on winter break for two weeks. I wish the schedule would be like that permanently. Wouldn’t that be awesome? Ha ha.

I’m so excited to be on break. I’m giving up a lot of my usual holiday business to just spend time with the boys. We’re making some big plans.

I fit in an early morning treadmill run yesterday before the sun came up.

Then I was off with a plate load of breakfast items.

I had a chicken apple sausage egg white STUFT egg-rito with power greens, an apple and a sandwich with goat cheese cream cheese and that spicy jam from the other day.

I made it through the day and last night was pretty much the perfect night. I got my first pay check and had to explain to the boys what a “paycheck” is. Ha ha.

After the boys went to bed the rest of the night looked a little like this.

Perfection, right?

Okay, I’m off to teach a few classes this morning and then I may in fact brave Costco to pick up our Christmas cards. Yes, I haven’t even picked up my cards yet. Lovely. And yes, I’m really scared of Costco, but I think we can handle it. Will it be nuts there today?
