. With Thanksgiving preparation in full swing this week, planning a holiday outfit can sometimes seem like somewhat of an afterthought. The struggle to juggle cooking, hosting, and looking fabulous all at the same time can sometimes seem a bit overwhelming and stressful. Whenever I am hosting a large gathering, I try to plan my outfits ahead of time, but more often than not, I am throwing my outfit together as my first set of guests ring my doorbell.
That's why I love the idea of a chic and casual holiday look that is both stylish and multi-functional at the same time. Today's outfit is just that for me. I can rest comfortably in my leggings and plaid button-down while I am mulling about the kitchen, and whenever I am ready to sit down and relax I can add in a more glamorous touch with a faux-fur vest, a bit of bling, and a fedora (to hide my crazy I've been cooking since 4am hairstyle). It's the perfect way to be polished and practical at the same time!
