American Girl Crafts Tiny Felt Treats Set Review!

I was browsing the American Girl Crafts

at Michael's Craft Store the other day and saw they had some new ones I hadn't seen before. The Tiny Felt Treats craft looked so fun and I had a coupon, so I picked one up. I was excited to try it out!

The set was $9.99 (cheaper with 40% or 50% off coupon, that Michael's has often). It comes with 22 pieces, enough supplies to make 4 mini cupcakes for your American Girl doll. No sewing required!

Opening it up, it was like a rainbow explosion! So many bright colors, I loved it!

Included is eight felt strips, ribbon, cupcake wraps, circle felt stickers, sticky dots, rectangle adhesive stickers, and detailed instructions. The instructions have pictures, so it's even easier to follow.

Here are the steps to make the cupcake. My favorite part is definitely the little cupcake wraps. They are slightly fuzzy and super adorable. The only thing that I figured out later is that the sticky rectangles and dots are not very strong...you might need to use some gun to make sure the cupcake stays in place. One of mine came undone about an hour later.

Here are my four completed cupcakes! I love how colorful they are.

As I was making them, I thought these would be perfect to do at a birthday party or sleepover. Being able to make them with friends and have conversation would be so fun!!

Overall, the American Girl Crafts

Felt Treats set was very cute and worth the money! You could make these yourself with other supplies, but I think the special cupcake wraps and felt colors you can't normally find at craft stores, make this a great buy. Julie can't wait to dig into her cupcakes!
