Så fint! news: Bunad Blankets

Welcome to a new episode of Så fint!, today dedicated to the last work of the famous norwegian designer Andreas Engesvik.
The collection is called Bunad Blankets and it's a series of colorful blankets based on motifs from seven different regions in Norway: Setesdal, Nordland, Fusa, Bringeklut, Sunnmøre, Beltestakk and Vest-Agder.
The name "Bunader" came from the costumes from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and the designer worked with Norwegian manufacturer Mandal Veveri {the leading producer of textiles for bunads in Norway today} to recreate traditional shapes and colors with a modern edge.
Every blanket has eight colors and thanks to the quality of the materials used, they are all-year blankets {you can buy them here}.
My favorite is the Nordland, with a deep blue base.. and yours?

La collezione si chiama Bunad Blankets e si tratta di una serie di coperte colorate basate su motivi provenienti da sette diverse regioni della Norvegia: Setesdal, Nordland, Fusa, Bringeklut, Sunnmøre, Beltestakk e Vest-Agder.
Il nome "Bunader" proviene dai costumi dell'Ottocento e del Novecento e il designer ha lavorato con l'azienda norvegese Mandal Veveri {il principale produttore di tessuti per bunads in Norvegia oggi} per ricreare forme e colori tradizionali ma attuali.
Ogni coperta ha otto colori e grazie alla qualità dei materiali utilizzati, sono perfette da utilizzare tutto l'anno {si possono acquistare qui}.
La mia preferita è la versione Nordland, con una base di blu intenso.. e la vostra?
