Do soccer stars drink something special that makes them all so strong, dedicated and drop-dead gorgeous? Oh, nope, it's just a lot of hard work and long hours—I almost forgot. Take Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year Alex Morgan, for example. She makes my intense workouts look like child's play by running up to six miles per day during games and up to 10 on non-game days, practicing high-intensity circuit training and lots and lots of pushups, according to an interview she did with Men's Health. Besides all of that training, she also surfs, SUPs and swims and practices yoga. Phew, I'm sweating just thinking about it.

For the strength and stamina of Morgan, mix up long runs with high-intensity cardio drills like sprints and burpees and dedicate at least three days a week to lifting. On your "rest" day, spending a few hours in the surf or paddle around a local lake. No board? Try some yoga videos on Youtube!
