What Is Your Passion?

I've seen it before, but when I came across this video on my facebook feed, it once again made me stop and think. Stop and think like I have a million times before, yet this time, for some reason….was different.
Not sure if it's because I'm in my thirties, or because I just surpassed my ten year wedding anniversary or because I ate too many double stuff Oreos (seriously, that stuff is like crack) but this particular time I viewed the four minute clip, it spoke it me like it never had before.
Passion.
What is my passion?
The simple answer is drinking an entire bottle of vodka without getting a hangover, or eating at Taco Bell three times a day and never gaining an ounce. Or better yet, walking into Sea World with my fog resistant goggles and jumping into the dolphin pool without the use of tasers and handcuffs.
That's the simple, obvious answer.
But I think we all know I tend to stray from the simple and obvious.
So back to my passion. My real, unbridled, tried and true legit all-time passion.
Ok so seriously, it really would be drinking vodka and eating Taco Bell all day. I mean, I'm just being honest. But I'm also realistic. Like, I acknowledge the fact that if I really did drink vodka and eat Taco Bell all day, every day, that I would most likely be dead, in which presumably I wouldn't be here writing this blog which in turn would conclude in a much more dismal interweb space.
Just sayin'.
But for reals. I love to write. I live to write. I used to beg my fellow classmates to let me write their English essays for them, just because I loved writing that much. And it doesn't stop with pen and paper: I love writing music, blogs, articles, books, you name it. And since I don't ever cry in real life, I tend to get my feelings out on paper, whether sarcastic or real, but still…it's out there.
My passion is writing. Whether to make you think, cry or (hopefully please God hopefully) laugh, it's what I want to do. It is what I want to do for a living. It's what I want to do to mark my place in this world.
To make ya'll remember me.
Good or bad? Well, that is up to whether Barnes And Noble displays my first novel in their window-front or back towards the restrooms.
Until then, watch this short video. It very may well change your life path.

And then tell me….what is your passion?
