Zombie Easter Bunny Cake for Tablespoon.com

I have to admit that when the gang at Tablespoon.com asked me to create a zombie bunny cake, I was beyond surprised. Turning a chocolate Easter bunny into a zombie had never crossed my mind, even though I'm a huge Halloween nut. I even had a house full of zombies for our party two years ago and know zombies have become even more popular than ever.
I suppose I was the perfect person to create this cake. It was actually fun to make. It was unlike any other cake I've ever made. I tried to be a tad gory without making it too gross.

When the cake was shared on Tablespoon's Facebook page, I was tentative. I didn't know how people would react. Some have been offended, but more than not, people have been enthusiastic about it. They think it's cool and many plan to make it for Easter.
