One of a Kind Red Carpet Style - Six Trends from the Grammy Awards
We didn't know what to expect when looking for what trends would make it on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards. Compared to some of the other award shows, attendees are known to take it to the next level and really anything goes. We knew we could expect some true One of a Kind Red Carpet Style, but even mine and Erika's favorite looks of the night were so different (see hers; see mine). But overall, most seemed to take more of a classic route then we've seen in the past.
A lot of these trends are timeless and I'm sure we'll see them for years to come. So, for our second installment of #oneofakindstyle with Diet Dr Pepper, here are our six, favorite trends from the red carpet and how the stars wore them: Cut Outs, Bold Reds, The Blues, Bright White, Silver & Gold and Blush and Nude. I've been really into "winter whites" lately, so when Diet Dr Pepper asked me translate a red carpet trend into a wearable, daytime look I felt most inspired to reach for my best neutrals and come up with this head-to-toe, red carpet inspired look; my take on Blush Tones & Nudes. The best way to style a monochromatic look, I think, is with contrasting accessories, like a leopard print handbag.
