Pasta with Green Beans and Chili Garlic Sauce


This winter has certainly been a snowy one. My driveway is resembling an ice fortress straight off the set of Frozen. Clearly the marketing department at Disney has been hard at work making it an icy, snowy winter to promote the movie. I did see it twice, so I guess it’s working!! (Oops, my Disney nerdom is showing!!) Despite the cold and snow Hubby and I have been trying to make an effort to go out and have dates. And I feel like every time we go out I come home wanting to recreate things I had at restaurants. (The grapefruit salad and kale salad were totally restaurant inspired too!) Recently we ordered a side dish of green beans to split, and they were smothered in the most delicious honey/soy/cilantro sauce. I couldn’t stop eating them, and since I am still getting really good green beans. And pasta is the perfect cold weather food, so this dish happened. It’s just as delicious as at the restaurant, and super fast to make, so I count it as a win. And you know what is super wonderfully amazing!? Spring is exactly one month from today. Hooray!!!!!!
