Talented Kiwi artist Kelly Thompson has created a gorgeous illustration to celebrate this year’s Shore City Art of Cake awards and we’re thrilled to give you a chance to win it. But first we want to give you the low down on these fab awards.
Six uber-talented cakers have created out-of-this-world-cakes (styled around fashion-forward runway trends) in their bid to reign supreme at this year’s Art of Cake awards at Takapuna’s Shore City.
For the month of August you can visit this free exhibition and vote for your favourite cake.
Each vote will go in the draw to win either a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer OR a $500 Shore City Gift Card.
The exhibition will finish on Thursday 28 August with the announcement of this year’s winning caker.
FREE CAKE CRAFT SESSIONS
If you’re a budding cake artist yourself, this weekend is your last chance to soak up words of fondant wisdom from Art of Cake finalists at the Cake Craft Sessions. These talented cakes will be hosting free public classes with free live demonstrations at Takapuna’s Shore City where they will divulge their most coveted decorating tips to help you create the best-dressed cake for your next celebration.
