DIY Table & Kitchen Decor

*Today’s post is made possible with the help of Tulip For Your Home and Blueprint Social. All opinions are my own.

I needed a new kitchen table look, and I wanted a quick and easy fix. I didn’t want to repaint my entire kitchen or buy new furniture, but I wanted a better look. That’s why I am in love with Tulip For Your Home, because you can create your own designs with their easy to use stencils and products, and it’s easy and fun. I am so excited about my DIY Table & Kitchen Decor, and it was all created with the help of Tulip For Your Home.

Here is what you will need to make the items for my DIY Table & Kitchen Decor:

  • 14″ x 14″ large stencil
  • 8″ motif stencil
  • Tulip Soft Paints in Metallic Gold and Matte Aqua
  • Stencil Spray Adhesive
  • Roller
  • Table Runner
  • 4 Pack of Dinner Napkins
  • Tea Towel

You can find all of the Tulip For Your Home products at your local craft stores, usually all together on display. I picked all of my supplies up at my local Hobby Lobby, and it was a super simple experience. All of the Tulip For Your Home products were in one location together, which made things simple when choosing your designs and ideas.

There are so many different choices to choose from, and after going back and forth a bit, I decided on these stencils to create my new look for the kitchen.

To get started, I opened up the cloths and ironed them all flat. I then grabbed my large stencil and stencil spray to get started with the tea towel and the table runner.

First take the Stencil Spray Adhesive and apply it to the dull side of the stencil. Then place it shiny side up on your fabric.

Next, take your paint and apply it to the stencil with the roller.

The stencils all have arrow markers that help you continue the design on your fabrics. Once you have your first design finished, allow it to dry a few minutes before continuing the design.

After I finished my runner, I allowed it to dry and set before I took my 8″ stencil and metallic gold paint and created the gold flower over the design.

Once I finished with my runner, I did the exact same for the Tea Towel.

I love how they turned out! The napkins were fun and easy. I just simply added the spray adhesive to the 8″ motif, place it on the corner of each napkin, and followed the steps above to create my table napkins.

Everything looks so good, and it was such a quick and easy design fix for my little kitchen area.

There are so many different things you can do with these products, the ideas are endless! It’s so simple and easy to create these projects, and I created all three of mine in under an hour.
