Martha Stewart Decorating Workshop at Home Depot

It seems to me that Christmas decorating has begun with wild, unapologetic abandon even earlier than usual this year. While at the mall this past weekend colorful garlands and lights were strung up, Santa's village was in full swing, and while navigating my way between elaborately decorated tables and trees in Pottery Barn I overheard a woman tell her daughter that they would putt their own tree up next weekend-- just in time for Thanksgiving.

I'm not judging, I personally love Christmastime (and have had my Christmas play list going on Spotify since before Halloween). However, the more socially accepted early holiday decorating becomes, the earlier I feel behind with my own.

That being said, you can imagine my excitement when an email arrived in my inbox last week notifying me that Martha Stewart will be at the Home Depot in Vauxhall, NJ this Saturday to lead a holiday decor workshop with easy and affordable ways to transform every room in your home to reflect your personal style.

If you're in the area the Vauxhall Home Depot is worth a visit on its own-- it's enormous and beautiful (there's even a Dunkin Donuts inside). The Home Depot Holiday Decorating Workshop featuring Martha Stewart is this Saturday, November 16th from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (tent opens and registration begins at 9:30 a.m.). Everyone in attendance will receive a free, one-year print subscription to Martha Stewart Living, as well as a $5 Home Depot gift card, and be automatically entered to win a $250 Home Depot gift card.
