// I think I may have mentioned this before but my hair is a frizzy mess! It is naturally curly but has more frizz than curl to it. It is also quite coarse and dry. I have tried many treatments in the salon and nothing has really worked for me. I do get a temporary affect from some treatments but my hair grows very quickly and I go back to square one. The main saviour of my hair has been my GHD straighteners, which seem to be the only things that are able to tame my mane.

However I can never resist trying new products. The most recent being the Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Treatment Plus. The added Plus is the newer formula with a lighter scent than the old one and it also contains a new antioxidant Rouge Oleifera. I bought the smaller pot for £16 whereas the 100ml costs £32.50 because I wanted to test it out first. It comes with a little scoop to help you get the product out, which is really handy.

When I first opened the pot I was surprised by the texture of the treatment. It is a coarse thick gritty formula which starts melting as soon as you put it in your palms. Rub the treatment between your hands and it transforms into oil. I applied the oil for 20 minutes before washing my hair. The oil stands my hair together. It says this is the new lighter smell, yet to me the smell is strong. It’s not a pleasant smell either, more like a kerosene type smell. After washing, my hair is so soft, less frizzy and much easier to manage. I was instantly impressed.

However that being said this is something I only use once a fortnight if that even. This is because used regularly my hair gets weighed down and greasy very quickly. Not a good look. Overall it is a really good treatment but needs to be used sparingly .
