MAC Relentlessly Red Lipstick Review & Swatches!

After falling in love with MAC Talk That Talk matte lipstick, I decided to get a bright matte lippy for Summer and came around MAC Relentlessly Red. This lipstick is absolutely gorgeous but in my opinion it has nothing to do with red shade. It is a very bright, juicy watermelon pink and it's almost identical with MAC Impassioned with the difference of matte finish, while Impassioned has some sheen to it (review here). The interesting part is that even though both shades are almost identical the matter finish in Relentlessly Red makes this lipstick a bit more wearable in my opinion and it does look a bit darker on the lips (you can see that on the swatches below).

When it comes to texture since it is a matte lipstick it does feel a bit different than for example MAC Lustre lipsticks (which I'm a big fan of too, new reviews coming soon!), but at the same time I didn't feel that my lips were dry and application was very easy because of the amazing pigmentation. Also the great thing about matte lipsticks is that they stay on for a long time, so you don't have to worry about constant reapplying.
