New Hutch

Hello! Today, while skimming Craigslist for furniture, I came across a hutch that matches my hutch in the kitchen, the similarities were so close that I just had to go see it.

So here she sits, my new kitchen hutch. She's a little larger, so I have plenty of room to accessorize which is my favorite thing to do! ;)

Ignore the table and lamp on the other side of the wall, I placed it there to get it out of the way.

Here is my original hutch, see how the back of the hutch is painted a pale, soft green? Well, the new hutch is painted the exact same color...it was meant to be! :)

As soon as we got the hutch situated, I got to work accessorizing it!

I placed a Rooster and a basket of faux apples on the bottom shelf.

Easter is coming and I am starting early with my spring decorating.

I will save the other shelves for next week...I'm sure I will be doing some tweaking between now and then, so stay tuned! All I can say is, Craigslist R O C K S!!! This Hutch was a steal of a deal, in perfect condition, and very well made. I told myself...no more "white" furniture, but until I'm ready to purge my table and get something new, why not stick with white in this room, right? Tootles for now!
