The Messy Side Of Decorating

Hello Everyone! Today, I would like to share how I decorate my space. Things around here get MESSY before they get PRETTY!
In the picture below, you can see a white hutch to the left of the table. I moved that to another side of the room.
I loved the hutch there, but after awhile I like to move my things around and jazz things up around here.
I moved my table and chairs out of the way to get the lay of the land.
I love seeing lamps through a window at night (so cozy looking), so I moved my painted furniture piece just right beneath the window.
I know it may look odd placing two pieces close together, but I promise you it won't look bad once it's all put together.
Here is my little Euro looking vignette. I brought in my shabby chic, antique white chest, and sat it in this little corner of the room.
I added two white shelves, which I purchased from Ross for $11.99 each.
I got this cup and saucer combo at Safeway and filled it with coffee beans and sat it on two coffee books inside my cake platter.
If you like this cake platter, you can find it at Safeway in the floral dept.
I added two book boxes to add height.
I took a basket and created this little vignette.
I purchased two pictures from Ross and sat each one of them on the shelves.
One last look.
The final look...
Here's my simple centerpiece. A pedestal. A pot. A moss ball and greenery set around the base, whala!
Don't you love turning a messy space into a pretty, cozy one? The transformation process can be messy, but worth the mess in the end.
Thanks for visiting! XOXO ~Liz
