YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation Review Swatches

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation (Rs 3200 for 30ml)

I wanted to own this beauty since a long time and I am glad, I have this with me now. I have slowly shifted from full coverage foundation to medium, natural looking foundations.

About: ‘For the first time, the magic light of Touche Éclat is in a foundation with the added benefit of SPF 19 sun protection. Infused in a weightless fluid, this foundation targets shadowy areas and highlights the contours of the face. Free of opaque fillers, its perfecting texture evens the complexion and helps conceal imperfections while enhancing your skin’s natural beauty.’

Shade- I chose the shade BD50 for myself. It is a perfect match for my olive with yellow undertones skin tone. It is a great match for nc35-37 skin tone. There is a great shade option available for pink as well as for yellow undertones.

Packaging- The packaging is class apart and speaks luxury. The outer cover is metallic golden which is a common packaging for YSL products. YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation has a glass packaging with pump dispenser which is very smooth and receptive to touch. The bottle has YSL written on it in full form and a golden cap having ysl logo. The shade name is provided at the bottom. Though it is nothing fancy but the finishing and quality of packaging is simply amazing this is a major factor for me as I prefer classy packagings.
Texture & Formula- The texture of YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation is silky smooth and it applies like a dream. It is one foundation that I apply with my fingers only because the moment I apply it, it begins to blend. It is easy to apply and evens out perfectly on skin without leaving any streaky or patchy marks. The formula is moisturising and great for those having dry skin. However, on my combination/oily skin, it didn’t give any oily look. It imparts a radiant glow to face. It provides semi-dewy finish. It looks really natural on skin. The foundation has soft focus gel instead of powder formulas which provides more transparency. The foundation has an amazing lightweight texture.

Pigmentation/Coverage- YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat provides light to buildable medium coverage. The consistency of the foundation is slightly towards runny side but not too much. It covers redness, light blemishes and evens out my skin tone in 2 layers. However, for major skin issues you need heavy concealing.

Staying Power- YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation stays for about 6-7 hours on me after which I do need a swirl of compact powder.

Overall Thoughts

I am short of words praising this foundation. It is a great investment if you like natural looking foundations. The formula is excellent. I highly recommend trying YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation.

Ratings- 4.9/5
