Review : Re Cafe & Bar , DLF Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj

What is the best combo ever ? For me its Food when mixed with fun. I had a chance to visit Re Cafe & Bar situated at DLF Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. Interesting quirky decor with bright colors would be first thing to catch your attention -

Re Café is a casual & chic coffee shop serving comfort food from around the Globe. What I found it a good place to be with your family. There is a kids corner with toys, books and puzzles. Entire ambience is bright and cheerful. Menu itself is diversified, with some really interesting fusion of dishes.

Couldn’t agree more. You will find very interesting dishes like Idli Chaat, Bhel Puri along with Pizza, Pasta, Burgers, Tarts and what not. Here are the pictures of what all we devoured during tasting. We started with Tomato Basil Soup, and believe it tasted amazing ! I could have licked the bowls clean

Next was Bhel Papad Cones, served in papad cones. Delicious and crisp served with sweet & green chilli sauce.

In Veg starters we were served – Tomato Bruschetta, Cauliflower Tarts, Paneer Tikka. I liked those tarts, creamy & crisp, pastry was so flaky and fresh.

Very Interesting and spicy – Idli Chaat, it tasted as it good at it looks here. Crispy fried Idli with yogurt, sweet & chilli chutney.

In Non-Veg Starters we had – Chicken Wings, Mutton Seekh & Chicken Tikka. Chicken wings has sweet & spicy flavours, Chicken tikka was juicy & succulent. Mutton Seekh was a bit dry yet delicious.

Thin crust pizza tasted good. Crust was soft and toppings were succulent & fresh. I personally like thin crust only because that way you can taste toppings also without overpowering dough taste.

Three Sliders – Platter of 3 burgers Veg, mutton & chicken, served with super spicy fries, salad and sauces. I loved those crispy fried fries. Mine favorite was chicken burger.

Fettuccine Pasta in Red Sauce

Last but not the least – Dal & Butter Chicken served with Butter Naan & mixed Raita. That butter chicken was divine, lip smacking gravy & tender chicken.

No meal is complete without a dessert. We were served – Cointreau Trifle Cake & Brownie with Vanilla ice cream

Overall Thoughts

I can see myself visiting Re Cafe & Bar again & often because of the variety of dishes and interesting fusion of cuisines. Also the restaurant has a nice chic contemporary feel and affordable-y priced dishes on the menu. Cheerful place to hang out with friends & family.
