Benefit high beam highlighter is quite an old and most raved highlighter. It was in my wish list since long and one day I got a chance to purchase the sample size product. I picked it up immediately and today I will review it for you all.

Packaging: Benefit High Beam highlighter comes in a transparent glass bottle with a brush applicator. The packaging and the system looks like nail polish brush but the applicator is quite convenient. It picks up right amount and avoids wastage of product. Since the bottle is made of glass so make sure you carry it carefully while travelling as you cannot afford to break it.

Shade and Texture: When I first swatched it I thought it would not suit my dusky complexion but I was wrong. It’s a very pretty shimmery pink shade with hints of metallic silver. The consistency is very blendable and it blends like a dream and gives a very smooth velvety finish. The texture is non-greasy and lightweight so even if you have oily skin like me it will never bother you. The shimmers are visible when swatched on hand but it just blends into skin and then you can’t really spot any shimmer or glitter particle. My Experience:

I have tried powder highlighters before but this one is the best I have tried so far. It gives the most natural radiant glow without making you look like a disco ball. The best thing about this highlighter is that it can be used during day time too as the formula is shimmer-free. It instantly gives my full complexion a healthy glow within seconds and thus it is my most-used product currently due to the wedding season. I apply this highlighter on high points of my face where light comes directly, on m y brow bone to get that waked-up look and sometimes also mix it with my bb cream to lift my dull face. Worn either way, it gives the most natural radiant glow. The best thing about this high beam is that it isn’t noticeable and no-one can tell you’re making any makeup because it’s subtle, natural still add so much to your complexion.

You need very little amount so one bottle is going to last for very long which makes it cost effective. The full size version is quite expensive but trust me it’s worth every penny you spend.

Overall Thoughts

If you are looking for the most natural looking Liquid highlighter then consider Benefit High Beam. The packaging is functional, cute and the texture is very smooth which blends effortlessly. It’s a multi-purpose product you can use it as highlighter to highlight high points of your cheek, on brow bone to brighten up eyes and can also be used as all over face illuminant.. I really love it and would definitely recommend to all.
