I have had a box of plastic Easter eggs sitting in my basement for at least 3 years. I think I found them 75% after Easter and knew I would use them someday. Unfortunately, I forgot about them till now.
But today’s a new day and the Easter eggs are getting a new look with some washi tape.
I pulled out my supply of washi tape and chose the ones that worked with the colors of my plastic eggs.
I wrapped the washi tape around the center of the egg, covering the area where the pieces connect.
Because of the oval shape of the egg, the thicker washi tape would not wrap around the eggs without creases forming in the tape. The thinner tape worked great, so I cut the thicker tape in half. By doing that, I was also able to cover two eggs with essentially one piece of tape. That worked out well!
These washi tape Easter eggs are the easiest Easter eggs ever. They’re cute and colorful and will fill your Easter baskets with fun!
