As you know, each week my co-hosts and I take turns choosing the features for the previous week’s party. This week…it’s me!

I’m also recovering from the weekend…where I had to move two kids into the dorm. It was exhausting, but fun! Did you see the cute DIY Stenciled Curtains that I made from a twin sheet for my daughter’s dorm room? My son prefers I not get ahold of his room, but my daughter is more than willing for me to help her decorate!

I think working on her room lead to the theme for today’s Top Picks…take a look…

If I was still a little girl, this would be my dream bedroom…it makes me swoon! The Heathered Nest did an unbelievable makeover on the room! I love the Damask Wallpaper…gorgeous!

Even if you don’t have the skills to make your own dresser from pallet wood, like Her Toolbelt, you can get inspired to copy the amazing chevron design she painted on this 7 Drawer Dresser. If you would like to build your own, Amy gives you full plans and directions…she’s a wood working master!

Why pay hundreds of dollars for a designer rug, when you can paint your own?! I’ve wanted to do this forever and Upcyled Treasures has inspired me…Check out their DIY Painted Rug inspired by West Elm. I love a rug in a bedroom and this is a great idea.
