Recently, I’ve found myself obsessed with lighting. I walk around my house, dreaming of new pendants, chandeliers and fixtures. I so want to go in a different direction with my lighting.
My first step in my quest for a whole new look in lights was to switch out my fixture in my powder room. I’m not sure if you noticed, but when I shared my bathroom makeover, I didn’t include any pictures of the light fixture. The truth is, I had a deadline on sharing the makeover and my new light arrived that afternoon…after I’d taken my pictures. But it worked out okay because now I can devote an entire post to my new, fabulous industrial style bathroom lighting.
As soon as I pulled it from the box, I knew I loved it. It’s the Hinkley Congress 19 1/4″W Clear Glass Nickel Bath Light from Lamps Plus. It’s a gorgeous industrial style light that has beautiful clean lines and a sleek design.
The clear glass allows you to see inside the globe, which is perfect to use with a filament bulb. It’s such a cool look! Take a peek at it lit, with the vintage style filament bulbs. It casts a beautiful glow in the bathroom.
I chose the antique nickel finish, to coordinate with the fixtures on my sink, but if you visit Lamps Plus, you can find other choices in this collection. Visit their website and search for Hinkley Congress. There are other styles available as well as finishes and globe choices.
It’s a 2-light bathroom fixture that measures 19 1/4″ wide x 9 1/4″ high. It extends 10″ from the wall and the round back plate is 4 3/4″ wide.
I think this fixture completes the bathroom makeover perfectly!
