Last weekend I had the best time in...dun dun dun...the MID-WEST. Yeahhhh. Who knew you could take a red eye flight and touch down with legitimate red eyes, go, go, go, and not be ready to go home yet? I went out that way for my brother's wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. I was intimidated by the potential leftover winter weather in combination with an outdoor wedding, but we couldn't have gotten better weather. It was absolutely gorgeous and, by far, the most beautiful ceremony of love I have ever attended. The next day I drove to Indianapolis with my mom, (new) nephew, his buddy, and my aunt to meet up with my uncle who took us out in his 4 seater Bonanza. The last time I went up in that thing I was in the single digits and I don't even remember it. We had a total blast.
It's good to be back, but that family time could certainly have been extended!
