Stuff She Likes Summer Trends On KTLA Morning News (video)

"None of us are as strong as all of us."
That is a phrase that a dear friend of mine who left this earth way to young used to say religiously.. And for me it resonates so utterly true..

When I was asked by the amazing producers at KTLA to do a "Stuff She Likes" Summer trends segment on live TV, I immediately said HEC YES.. and then I said to myself. "Why use models that are absolute strangers when I can bring some of my favorite blogger babes with me"? .. If I will shine so will they.




I love doing segments on KTLA.. everyone at the station is so super nice.. like one big family.

I rarely talk about my styling days. way back when.. (mostly personal styling now) but segments like this just bring that fire right back into my life. I love making women look and feel beautiful with clothing that highlights their best.

And that's what I set out to do with these six beautiful and diverse ladies. All different body types.. all different looks.. and all representative of the women of the real world. My goal was to show that there is a fashion trend for everyone.

And why not incorporate what I talk about best.. Fashion, food and beauty. After all this is a fashion, food and beauty blog.

Armed with ice cream sandwiches, toffee and marshmallows from Carmela Ice Cream, a fiercely cute braid atop their beautiful heads and an outfit to die for.. These blogger babes walked that catwalk like pros.

I am so super proud..
