It's quite well known that I am a super foodie an absolutely love to eat out at all kinds of restaurants. I'll eat at any place from the hole in the wall with plastic forks to the high end establishments that offer a pallet cleanser before every course.. Question? Do those type of restaurants exists anymore? Anyhow back to the subject at hand.. and that glorious subject happens to be a restaurant called Red O.
A few weeks ago I grabbed a couple of my amazing blogger buddies Reinaldo and Christina and we headed over to the Modern Mexican inspired establishment to indulge in the new menu headed by chef Justin Haefler and I have to say bravo Red O.
Now this was not my first hooray at Red O.. I actually have been eating there since they opened their doors a few years ago, so I was already a fan.. And this latest adventure made me a super fan. With Happy Hour Sundays- Fridays from 5pm to 6:30 and one of the best cocktail menu's in the city.. You absolutely cannot go wrong.
We had everything from Cucumber Guacamole to Fresh Corn & Goat Cheese tamales to Ceviche to Duck Taquitos to Red Chile Kale to Lamb with the most amazing chocolate mole sauce. Yup that's right chocolate is one of the in credible ingredients to this very intricately made mole sauce... When we left the place there was hardly a morsel left. Picture the three of us basically being rolled out of the place we ate so much.
