How to wear the new Fall Lip.. Plum

BlogLovin: Stuff She Likes For Fall, make up is rooted in the earth. Earth tones, beige, browns, dark brick and one of my go to's, dark plum are all headlining the pages of our favorite magazines and websites. Just this month at New York Fashion Week dark plum in the form of M.A.C Smoked Purple was my color of choice. There is something about a long simple lash a barley there face and a dark plum lip that says to the world...
"I AM BOLD" But a dark lip can be intimidating.. ..what to wear with it.. how much other make up should be applied..matte or high shine? Well lucky for us right now there are so many options. You can go with anything from a dark matte purple to a dark creamy current and you will surely achieve the look.

Here's what works for me.. A bare or as close to skin colored eye. By just using your foundation layered a bit heavier on your eyelid and a setting it with translucent powder.. a perfect bare eye is achieved. Two light coats of black or dark brown mascara to lengthen your lashes. A matte bronze or light plum cheek.. slight highlight on the height of your cheekbones and your face is ready for any one of your plum choices.
