Fruit Salad

I almost bought some fabric similar to this at the sewing show recently, the fruits were a bit smaller and it was almost as cute as this fabric but unfortunately there wasn't enough available so it wasn't meant to be. Bring on this dress and much excitement from me! I seem to have developed a thing for fruit accessories, it started a good few years ago with my banana brooch (got lost on this outfit so couldn't be included :( ) and was rekindled with my apple bag earlier this year and has now gone into overdrive with the purchase of this fab pineapple necklace and this amazing dress. The necklace is more than I would usually spend, as soon as I saw it in store I knew it was going to be coming home with me. I have removed two of the pineapples as they got lost in my hair so am planning on using one as a key ring as soon as I get my ass into gear.

There are loads of fabulous dresses on TK Maxx at the moment. It isn't somewhere I always think of checking but I really should, I always find something I need when I do. Lots of fab tropical prints and even some Emily and Fin! Chop, chop what are you waiting for?!

Whilst I know nothing about horse racing or form etc there is something about the Grand National that has turned it into an annual event for us. I am usually pretty lucky and if I don't pick the winner I pick one of the top three and don't usually end up out of pocket. If you have any tips please let me know, if not I will be doing my usual selection by picking my favourite names or jockey colours, very technical! I watched a programme last night on the preparations for the Grand National 2014 and whilst horses totally scare me I admire how strong and majestic they are. Evolution at it's finest. Whatever you are doing have a lovely weekend :)
