papery goodness

You'll know that I'm partial to a bit of wallpaper, as I've just launched my own first collection. So it will be no surprise that every now and then I like to share a few of my wallpaper loves with you.

If, like half of my twitter feed, you got a bit hooked on the TV show the Great Interior Design Challenge you will of course been impressed with the beautiful origami offerings of Tracey Tubb brought to us by finalist Jordan Cluroe.

I just love it and am looking forward to seeing her stand at Tent London this year.

The creative use of paper reminded me of Elle Decorations British Design Award winner last year, Tracy Kendall. Here hand cut and stitched paper 'Another Colour' was such a great design.

Breaking News: Tracy has just let me know that she has won the 2014 Elle Deco International Design Award for this paper too! Marvellous news, and she is of course "very happy".

My final offering of papery goodness is called Sacred Geometries from Callidus Guild. I spotted it some time ago on the fabulous Design Milk blog and it stayed with me. This pattern 'Folded Origami' is wonderful and created with plaster applied to the paper to build texture and pattern.
