I've finaaaaally finished University!!! And can now continue resuming with my blog a lot more and also working on some exciting new up and coming projects! I've also recently accepted a job offer as a designer/ buyer at Own The Runway so I'll be moving to Manchester next month... all very exciting and hectic but worth the stress! I've also gone absolutely mad on Depop lately and selling lots of items including clothing, shoes, jewellery and make-up so make sure you check it out (@lydiafayejones).
Onto my outfit...this is from a few days ago as I haven't really had much time to post since finishing Uni and moving back home to the Midlands. I bought this Topshop high neck vest sometime last year and it's a top I always go to if I'm looking for something slightly smarter than a plain cotton vest. I like the silky soft fabric and the high neckline makes it easy to dress up with a statement necklace. I'm also wearing my new floral Joni jeans which I've been hunting high and low for over the past few weeks! I managed to track them down in the Oxford Street store last week so I'm not too sure if they're available anywhere else/ online. Joni jeans are my absolutely favourite style of Topshop jeans, I love the high-waisted fit and the elasticated fabric really sucks you in at all the right places.
I'm also wearing my new Lydia necklace which my parents bought me on a trip to Dubai! I'm also trying to track down the Arabic version on a longer chain so I can wear them both together as I think that will look nice. I'm also crazy about these Primark mirrored sunglasses at the moment...not only are they the perfect style for my (round!) face shape, but for £2 you really can't go wrong!
